Ancient Rocks

The ancient rocks of Hagar Qim look out over the ocean to the South of Malta - an easy trip by the local bus. Make sure you have plenty of time to sit and contemplate - let the tour groups come and go around you. But make sure you go.

Guided Tour

The Travelsnapz Tour of Malta will take you first to Gozo, then to Hagar Quim, to the old capitol of Mdina, then back to Valletta. Join us now.

Malta's wonderful old buses offer a cheap and efficient way of getting around the island. The main bus terminus is at Valletta just outside the old city gates from where buses operate to all parts of Malta. The cost of a bus route ranges from 15 cents to 30 cents. The longest bus journey takes about fifty minutes; the average ride is between 20 and 30 minutes. You can buy a bus pass that will last you several days.

Doris, who was 30 years away from Malta writes "I found a new and different Malta than the one I left years ago. I'm enjoying myself, relatives have been so nice, they keep asking me to dine with them. I eat plenty of their specialty cooking (rabbit and spaghetti) and fish (lampuki). I found the bus terminus at Valetta, it's an amusing place, in fact I often sit with a drink near the fountain and watch.
